2022 Dodge Muscle Cars Offer Enhanced Security and Safety

Despite its reputation for power-packed muscle cars, Dodge has always prioritized safety. The brand is taking additional steps to not only protect drivers on the road but to combat vehicle theft. Enhanced security measures have been added to Dodge’s latest line-up, with a Deluxe Security Alarm now standard on the 2022 Dodge Charger and Challenger.

Challengers and Chargers equipped with supercharged HEMI and Hellcat engines (including popular models like the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody and Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat) will feature an intrusion module. Challenger SRT Super Stock models, the world’s most powerful cars (supercharged V8 engine producing 807 horsepower), will also benefit from the Deluxe Security Alarm. 

Note: All other 2022 Dodge Challenger and Charger trims (SXT, GT and R/T) can add this advanced security technology with the Driver Convenience Group.

The security system encryption will upload via Dodge’s Uconnect 4C infotainment system – quick and easy! Drivers can then use a personalized four-digit security code to unlock their vehicle. Other security measures have been implemented, deterring theft by limiting the engine speed idle.

Don’t have a new Dodge? Don’t worry, Scat Pack and SRT drivers! Enhanced security features are available to owners of 2015 through 2021 Dodge Challenger SRT or Charger SRT models equipped with 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 or supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 engines. Owners of 2019-2021 Scat Packs equipped with a 392 HEMI V-8 engine are eligible too!
