2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV - Revolutionizing the American Muscle Car

Dodge is ushering in a new muscle car era with the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV. This innovative design and cutting-edge technology is the world’s first electric muscle car. But don’t worry, it still delivers impressive horsepower–up to 670 horsepower, to be exact! Read on to learn more - and contact Sumter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to learn even more about the new model! more Legendary Electric Performance Dodge is the most powerful muscle car in the world, and that hasn’t changed with the new Charger EV. Performance varies slightly between the 2024 Dodge Charger EV trims: Scat Pack and R/T. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack is predicted to go from 0 to 60 in just 3.3 seconds thanks to the electric twin motors that deliver 670 horsepower and an estimated 627 lb.-ft. of torque. The R/T trim is expected to go from 0 to 60 in 4.7 seconds and delivers a whopping 496 horsepower. Let’s answer the question everyone has: what about the battery? The Charger Daytona EV is equipped with a 100.5kWh high-voltage battery that uses advanced lithium-ion tech. In short, it’s designed for performance. The battery has an estimated range of 317 miles for the R/T model and 260 miles for the Scat Pack model. 1960’s Design with a Twist Under the hood, it’s all cutting-edge. But when it comes to the body design, Dodge looked to the classic 1968 Charger. You’ll find illuminated Fratzog badges on the front and rear, another homage to the Chargers of the 1960s. The exterior design isn’t all retro, though. The Charger Daytona EV has an R-Wing slot in the front to make it more aerodynamic, something the 1960s models lacked. The body is also extra wide, with the wheels in the max widest position. And if you’re concerned about the roar of an EV, don’t worry. The 2024 Charger Daytona EV will have the new patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, giving you that unmistakable roar when you turn the key. The 2024 Dodge Charger EV is a coupe with 37.3 cubic feet of cargo space with its rear seats folded. There are talks of a sedan model coming in 2025. Innovative Interior Features A muscle car needs a sporty interior, and that’s exactly what you’ll get in the 2024 Charger Daytona EV. Enjoy cloth of vinyl upholstery options, including Black or Demonic Red leather-trimmed front seats. These performance-inspired seats have fixed headrests and adjustable thigh bolsters. Also performance-inspired is the flat top and bottom steering wheel. When it comes to technology, the Charger Daytona has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Amazon Alexa, and the Uconnect 5 infotainment system. R/T models have a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, while the Scat Pack has a 16-inch. It’s also the first Dodge to offer a digital key via an app. 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV Price and Release Date The new Charger EV is scheduled to go on sale in fall 2024, and Dodge hasn’t released prices yet. You should expect a starting price between $50,000 to $60,000, though. Stop By Your Local Dodge Dealership in Sumter, SC!
